Reason
The product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. The recall was initiated after the seed supplier notified EAK Distribution that the seeds were used by a sprout grower whose finished products were part of an FDA investigation involving a multistate foodborne illness outbreak. Salmonella was detected in a broccoli seed sample collected and analyzed by the FDA. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Recommended action (Source: FDA)

Stop using these broccoli seeds immediately and do not use them for sprouting. Stop using them and ask the store where you bought them about a refund. If you feel sick after consuming sprouts grown from these seeds, contact your healthcare provider.
